This goes to show that any enterprise that warehouses personal data is at risk – even colleges and universities. University of Virginia today announced that almost 6,000 current and former faculty members could be at risk due to hackers obtaining birth dates and social security numbers. Here’s a story about how to avoid these kinds of breaches. This brings up a good point…why do organizations continually have breaches?
