What’s the worst area for identity theft?  Evidently it’s Napa, California with the highest per capita cases of identity theft, according to FTC data.   State-wise, Arizona had the highest rates of theft.

In other news, Javelin is reporting that the most common way identity theft is occurring is through good old fashioned low tech methods such as a stolen wallet or checkbook.
